It's raining, it's pouring …

Hi!

As my kids got ready for school this morning my older daughter grabbed an umbrella and waited outside for her younger sister.  My older daughter opened the door and said, ”Hurry up.  It’s raining.  It’s a great day for you.”   Ordinarily that would be an odd thing to say however my younger daughter has a special raincoat.  When it gets wet flowers appear.   Isn’t that cool?

Enjoy the rain!

Audrey Hepburn's beauty tips

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.  For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.  For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.  As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

"Give Mother Nature a clap"

Unlike typical Canadian winters yesterday was a mild day.  After school my children quickly finished their homework and we headed off to the local outdoor skating rink.  There was a stillness in the air and as the sun set the sky turned a deep shade of blue.  Snow was gently falling and we all stood there quietly admiring the surrounding.   After a moment or so Jacquelline suggested we, “Give Mother Nature a clap”.
